Support HEX! Museum of Witch Hunt

HEX! shines a spotlight on what can happen when people start fearing other people. The fear of witchcraft and sorcery lead to grievous persecution throughout Europe from around 1450 to the end of the 17th century. The fear of being accused may also have affected people’s actions.

This history is part of our shared cultural heritage and we have chosen to shed light on it because it also illuminates issues we are familiar with today, such as social exclusion, the fear of the unknown and the power of rumour.

We are grateful for any contributions that can help us seek out new knowledge about the story and pass it on it to our guests.
